Varieties: 100% Albariño.
VINEYARD: It is 35 years old and has a limestone and granite soil. It is situated around a hill surrounded by a eucalyptus forest. The climate of the area is typically Atlantic – continental with a huge influence from the nearby Atlantic Ocean.
PREPARATION: Once the grapes have been collected and selected, cold maceration takes place in a tank for 12 hours at a temperature of 9º C. Fermentation takes place for 30 days in stainless steel tanks at 16ºC to preserve as many aromas as possible in the wine. For three months batonages are made with its lees so that the wine acquires body and olfactory richness.
Tasting: Shows a pleasant light yellow. Aromas of white fruit, flowers and with a salty touch. Full-bodied, mineral and fruity.
This wine has a potential for improvement in 3-year bottles.
