Macán is a modern and very personal look at the high-expression and highest-quality wines of the DOCa Rioja. It is a commitment to finesse, elegance, complexity and power. And it constitutes the banner of Bodegas Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia, the project started by Tempos Vega Sicilia and the Edmond de Rothschild Wine Company in 2004.
Macán is made only with grapes of the Tempranillo variety. It is a grape from a careful selection of old plots settled on high terraces and poor soils, gravel, little evolved and loamy-calcareous in nature.
