Variety: 50% Tempranillo, 50% Garnacha
Vineyards: Divided between two zones: Ábalos brings the tempranillo and Tudelilla the garnacha. Altitude above 700 m, giving the fruit freshness and
elegance.
Soil types: Ábalos: Sandy soil from the decomposition of the bedrock (chalky sediments).
Tasting notes:
Appearence: Medium-high intensity, ruby-red colour. Clear and bright with signs of tears.
Nose: Clear, open nose. A highly original aromatic profile. The garnacha comes through in the form of cherries and the tempranillo leaves a clear imprint of dark berry fruit.
Palate: Vibrant, presence of acidity, medium-bodiedand fine-quality, rounded ripe tannins. In the retronasal phase it is rich in fresh aromas of fruit and aromatic herbs.
Alcoholic strength: 14% Vol
Service: 16-18ºC
Pairing: Asian meat dishes, Galician beef chops, and strong-flavoured cured pork. Stilton-type cheeses.
