Variety of Grape used:
This wine is made from grapes from our best Rioja Alta vineyards. The harvest date is determined with periodic analysis and tasting of the grapes, indicators of the optimal state of maturation. After a careful selection in the vineyard and in the winery, the grapes go to oak vats where the alcoholic fermentation will take place. The discovery is made in new French oak barrels where malolactic fermentation takes place and its subsequent aging for 18 months.
High vividness and color intensity. Cherry color with purple hints on the meniscus. On the nose, its aromatic potential stands out, with the appearance of ripe berries, predominantly blackberries and also appearing floral notes of violet that intermingle with those from fine wood such as coffee, chocolates and balsamic. On the palate it has a powerful entry but with a smooth mid palate marked by a kind and silky tannin, which provides us with an amplitude in the aftertaste that allows us to continue enjoying the wine for a long time. In the glass it evolves, expanding its aromatic variety.
It is very broad, ranging from mere tasting to any kind of meat, including game.
