Description
Varieties: Moscatel de Grano Menudo.
Vineyard: Vineyards planted in 1999 in the area of Calahorra.
Harvest: Manual harvest of botrytisaffected grapes in November. Selections of berries at the sorting table.
Winemaking: The fermentation in French oak barrels. When alcohol level reaches a certain concentration, the fermentation stops, leaving naturally sweet wine. After fermentation, short ageing on fine lees (3 months), racking and aging in the barrels utill bottling.
Aging: 6 months in oak barrel.
Alcohol content: 13% Vol
Tasting notes
Colour: Antique gold colour
Nose: Intense aromas of overripe fruits and honey, together with hints of smokiness and vanilla.
Palate: Dense with good acidity which perfectly offsets the high sugar content of the wine. Long, pleasant and lingering aftertaste.
